ALGA maintains a close relationship with the Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO) and has been involved in a number of projects. Most recently, Your Home, a project to produce a comprehensive sustainable residential design guide for consumers, designers, councils and builders.

The Australian Greenhouse Office has also published material to assist households to reduce their energy use, a key component of the CCP program for councils.
The Department of Environment and Heritage has produced a publication, highlighting ways to refurbish heritage buildings (PDF) to improve their environmental sustainability.
The Australian Government has also produced an online tool to test the environmental performance of new cars sold in Australia.
The Federal Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry have produced a number of climate change in NRM documents.
The Australian Government has developed the National Greenhouse Strategy.
Energy Star is a government-backed program helping businesses and individuals protect the environment through superior energy efficiency.
The NSW Greenhouse Office commissioned CSIRO to undertake an assessment of past climate variability and projected changes in average climate. The report, Climate change in New South Wales (PDF 2.1 MB) draws on information on regionally-specific changes in temperature, rainfall, potential evaporation rates and sea level changes.
Moreland City Council and Vox Bandicoot have taken Sustainability Street to more than 30 communities in Victoria and NSW. The Sustainability Street project was a finalist in the 2004 National Eureka Prize. The Moreland Energy Foundation and the Moreland City Council are keen to assist more local communities to undertake this program. More information can be obtained from info@sustainabilitystreet.org.au
