2004-05 National NRM survey of local government
Appendix A: Facsimile survey form
This survey will be used to collect information on the level of council involvement in the regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) processes and the development of regional plans and their implementation. It will also collect information on the awareness, relevancy and usefulness of the Australian Government's Biodiversity toolbox for local government and the level of council activities in biodiversity conservation. The information collected will assist ALGA to ensure local government involvement is optimised which in turn will lead to improved NRM outcomes.
Each NRM region has a regional body responsible for developing it's regional plan. The title of the body differs around Australia.
The survey consists of this page and 2 more. There are 21 questions most of which are multiple choice questions and completion time is less than 10 minutes.
