- The Planning for an Ageing Community Award, sponsored by The Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing: Office for an Ageing Australia is part of the National Awards for Local Government. The award recognises the important role that local government is playing in developing and implementing responses to provide for the future of their ageing communities, particularly through inter-disciplinary approaches within Councils as well as partnerships with other Councils and other levels of government, local institutions, businesses and community organisations.
- Diversity@work Awards recognise and reward the efforts of individuals, teams and organisations that are working to encourage diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Awards will be made for both diversity champions and for initiatives that increase workplace diversity and inclusion. The Department of Health and Ageing, through the Office for an Ageing Australia, supports the award category for the Employment and Inclusion of Mature Age Workers.
